Ben Mahgerefteh began his study of auto mechanics when he was in the 9th grade. From grades 9th through 12th he studied machine shop, drafting and building in industrial school. Ben joined the Army 37 years ago in 1974 and was in charge of transportation for the Army. Ben began fixing and selling cars in college. He graduated from Virginia Wetan Community College in 1981. After graduation, he began wholesaling vehicles. In 1987, Ben opened the current location of Prestige Auto Brokers at 4125 Portsmouth Blvd in Portsmouth Virginia. Prestige Auto Brokers is entirely family run with Ben, his wife as the office manager, his daughter whom is the collection manager, his son being the Internet manager and web manager, and lastly his wonder dog Jimmy which is very customer friendly. Loyal customers of Prestige Auto Brokers are treated like family. Our family has grown to include a large number of loyal customers.
